Where Do I Start?
You can email me, use the contact form or call me to describe your situation. We can then schedule a first session to figure out if we could work together. Alternatively, you could book a free 15 minute consult to learn more about my services. However, we will not dive deeper into your presenting concerns at this kind of meeting.
How Frequently Will I Visit You?
Studies have shown that weekly sessions help clients feel better faster and make it more likely to to make headway on your issues sooner. It allows us to form a closer therapeutic relationship, which leads to better outcomes. Biweekly sessions would e.g. cause use to use up a big amount of the session to catch up on recent events, leaving us with less time to do deeper work. In addition, your defenses will go up. This means that the parts in you that are resistant to change will resurface more if there is too much time between the sessions. Every human who wants to change also has a part in them that does not want to change.
Do You Accept Insurance?
Every insurance company has their own policy regarding if and how many sessions they cover. Please inquire directly with your provider. I will issues a receipt that you could submit to your provider if they covered sessions. E-transfer is the payment method I offer.
How Soon Can I Get An Appointment?
My days for in-person sessions are Tuesdays and Fridays. I offer virtual sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays. I can usually offer you an appointment within a few days.
